What is SciO Juniors?

SciO Juniors is based on the rules of Science Olympiad Division A (Elementary Schools). It involves team-based competitions in a variety of science-related subjects called Events that covers biology, physics, chemistry, and engineering.

The offered Events which are detailed here, are designed to be age-appropriate, with simpler concepts and challenges suited for younger students. SciO Juniors aims to spark an interest in science rather than foster competitiveness, helping students develop critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a fun, hands-on environment.

What is Science Olympiad?

Founded in 1984, Science Olympiad is the premier team STEM competition in the nation, providing standards-based challenges to 6,600 teams at 425 tournaments in all 50 states. More information can be found here and here .
